does the LPC do? |
The Local Pharmaceutical Committee is a statutory body that represents the pharmacy contractors within the NHS. This website is specifically about the LPC that represents Leeds NHS Trusts. As such the LLPC is consulted by the NHS on any matter that affects all areas of pharmaceutical work within the Leeds NHS Trust’s catchment area. We work with the pharmaceutical companies in the area to provide the best services for the patient and the NHS. The LPC is also responsible for negotiating local services with the NHS whilst being aware of the costs involved. This currently includes:
